Marlene Plott has traveled the world : The UK, France, Italy, Egypt, Greece, the Caribbean, Turkey, Russia, Finland, Norway, Sweden and just about anywhere else you can find on the globe. So when Marlene tells you she likes it on Hilton Head you can believe she's done her research! She bought a timeshare, sight unseen, and began vacationing on Hilton Head 24 years ago.

Totally enthralled with the beach, warm climate and friendly atmosphere of the island she decided vacations here were not enough so she built a home, moved to Hilton Head and continues her real estate career in the place that she loves. So Marlene knows Hilton Head from the perspective of both vacationing and as a homeowner.

Born in West Virginia, Marlene attended college at Marshall University in Huntington, She taught school and began her family there before moving to Columbus, Ohio-- then Michigan for 30 years in East Lansing as a Michigan State Spartan fan.

The lure of real estate led her to become a real estate broker. While selling, Marlene also became her own customer--started investing, then developing both residential and commercial properties and remains a partner in several ventures. The desire to make the right decision in transactions has always been a prime concern and she uses her knowledge and experience for the benefit of her customers.

The beach, golf, volunteer work and entertaining visiting family and friends are Marlene's favorite things to do unless she is working with customers. Then her focus is entirely dedicated to her customer's needs.
